About Ojasvi Group
Ojasvi Group helps businesses and professionals solve practical technology, operational, finance, and talent challenges. Our Technology practice supports small- and medium-sized organizations with secure, scalable, and well-documented technology solutions.
We are seeking a technically capable and client-focused Solutions Consultant to support client technology assessments, solution design, implementation projects, and technical problem-solving.
The Opportunity
As a Solutions Consultant, you will work directly with small- and medium-sized business clients to understand their technology needs, assess existing environments, identify gaps, and help implement practical solutions.
This role combines technical consulting and hands-on delivery. You will support infrastructure, networking, Microsoft 365, cloud, endpoint, backup, and cybersecurity initiatives, while ensuring that each solution aligns with the client’s operational needs and security requirements.
What You’ll Do
• Conduct technology assessments to understand client operations, systems, networks, cloud tools, security practices, and business requirements.
• Identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities, then translate findings into practical technology recommendations and implementation roadmaps.
• Design, deploy, and support business IT environments, including networking, firewalls, switching, wireless access points, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, VLANs, and network segmentation.
• Configure and support Microsoft 365 environments, including Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange Online, Microsoft Entra ID, user accounts, permissions, security groups, and multi-factor authentication.
• Support identity and access management, user onboarding and offboarding, endpoint setup, device management, collaboration tools, cloud storage, and business applications.
• Plan and coordinate technology projects, including technical requirements, timelines, vendor coordination, implementation activities, client communications, cutovers, and handoff.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues involving networks, cloud services, devices, user access, collaboration platforms, and backup systems.
• Work with internal team members, vendors, and cybersecurity specialists to ensure deployed environments meet security and standardization requirements.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, including network diagrams, system inventories, configuration records, project documentation, and standard operating procedures.
• Identify recurring issues and recommend process, security, documentation, and technology improvements.
What You Bring
• Experience in IT consulting, managed services, systems administration, network administration, technical implementation, or a comparable hands-on technology role.
• Strong working knowledge of small- and medium-business networking, including routers, switches, firewalls, Wi-Fi, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, IP addressing, routing, switching, and troubleshooting.
• Experience administering or supporting Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Microsoft Entra ID, user and group management, permissions, and multi-factor authentication.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals, including least-privilege access, endpoint protection, patching, account security, backup and recovery, and phishing-risk reduction.
• Familiarity with endpoint-management and device-support concepts across Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android.
• Ability to create clear technical documentation, system inventories, network diagrams, implementation plans, and standard operating procedures.
• Experience with platforms such as UniFi, Ubiquiti, Fortinet, Meraki, SonicWall, pfSense, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Defender, Azure, or comparable tools is an asset.
• Strong problem-solving, organization, communication, and client-service skills.
• Ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical business stakeholders.
• Ability to work on-site in Toronto on a part-time basis.
• A valid driver’s licence and access to reliable transportation are assets, as occasional client-site work may be required.
Why Join Ojasvi Group?
• Work directly on meaningful technology projects that improve how clients operate, collaborate, and protect their business information.
• Build experience across technology consulting, networking, Microsoft 365, cybersecurity, project delivery, documentation, and client engagement.
• Work with a growing organization that values practical solutions, quality work, accountability, and continuous learning.
