About Ojasvi Group

Ojasvi Group supports businesses and professionals through practical, results-driven services. We are growing our operations and are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Accounting Analyst to support our bookkeeping, accounting, and compliance activities.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on accounting work, can adapt to changing priorities, and wants to contribute to a growing organization. The role is part-time to start, with the potential to become full-time based on business needs and performance.

The Opportunity

As an Accounting Analyst, you will support day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting activities for Ojasvi Group. You will be responsible for helping maintain accurate financial records, preparing reconciliations, supporting GST/HST filings, and assisting with accounting-related tasks as they arise.

The ideal candidate is organized, resourceful, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. You should be able to balance routine bookkeeping responsibilities with ad hoc requests, identify issues before they become problems, and take a practical approach to resolving discrepancies.

What You’ll Do

• Perform day-to-day bookkeeping and transaction-entry activities.

• Maintain organized, accurate, and complete accounting records and supporting documentation.

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, including invoice processing, payment tracking, and follow-up where required.

• Prepare bank, credit-card, and other balance-sheet reconciliations.

• Support the preparation, review, and filing of GST/HST returns and other applicable compliance-related filings.

• Assist with month-end accounting activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and account analysis.

• Investigate discrepancies, identify root causes, and help implement timely solutions.

• Support the preparation of reports, schedules, and financial information as required.

• Assist with document collection and financial information requests from management, external accountants, service providers, or other stakeholders.

• Take on ad hoc bookkeeping, accounting, administrative, and finance-related responsibilities as business needs arise.

• Help improve finance processes, recordkeeping practices, and internal workflows.

What We’re Looking For

• Education or training in accounting, bookkeeping, finance, business administration, or a related discipline.

• Experience in bookkeeping, accounting support, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or a similar role.

• Working knowledge of Canadian bookkeeping practices and GST/HST requirements.

• Strong attention to detail and a high standard of accuracy.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies.

• The ability to work well in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment with changing priorities and tight deadlines.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort working with spreadsheets and accounting systems.

• Experience with bookkeeping or accounting software is an asset.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• A proactive, dependable, and professional approach to work.

• Ability to work on-site in Toronto.

Why Join Ojasvi Group?

• Gain broad, practical exposure to bookkeeping, compliance, reconciliations, and operational finance.

• Work in a dynamic environment where your contributions can make a tangible difference.
